1920's Jacob Stainer Copy - One Piece Back
Jacob Stainer copy made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. Jacob Stainer (1618-1683) was the earliest and best known Germanic luthier. This violin copy has excellently chosen woods with a nicely matched grain on the top and extra fine purfling. The back is one piece of maple with beautifully placed stripes. Wonderful sound and even throughout. Very fun to play.
